Mary Riedel MS, LPC, NCC. I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in individual, adolescent and couples therapy, and I maintain a private practice in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
With over 12 years experience as a therapist, and an additional 13 years as a crisis counselor and community resource specialist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the therapeutic setting. Prior to creating my private practice, I worked for the Gundersen Health System under a grant program for victims of sexual abuse and assault. The grant program allowed me to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds and to develop strong skills, as well as a deep compassion and admiration for the resiliency of my clients.
As a graduate of Winona State University with a Masters degree in Community Counseling I was instilled with strong values and the belief that my responsibility as a therapist goes beyond the therapeutic setting to include being active in the community around me.
Having a private practice gives me the opportunity to continue working with issues of sexual assault and abuse as well as a broad spectrum of issues and diagnosis and I treasure the ability to work with individuals, wherever they are in life’s journey.
